Key skills and competencies Developing, implementing and managing events. Planning and accomplishing key result areas of the event. Developing and monitoring budgets items to ensure events accomplished within budgets Organising trade fairs, conferences, away days, product launches. Working closely with exhibition organisers, stand designers and contractors. Overseeing procurement of catering, audiovisual, entertainment, promotional materials, security & rental needs. Managing relationships with clients, delegates and sponsors. Preparing delegate packs and promotional material. Maintaining a calendar of events for effective long term planning & management. Supervising & coordinate the activities of personnel, committees, subcontractors & vendors to meet deadlines. In charge of accommodation, schedules, travel, night social events, day plans and registration.
